As the first bagless model, the Miele Blizzard vacuum cleaner has a very special significance in the company’s history of this global company. The company wanted to promote their highlight at the Internationale Radio Exhibition (IFA) in a way that fully lives up to the high standard of integrated technology.
But a vacuum cleaner bag isn’t all that sexy. So, we dedicated ourselves to the challenge of developing an AR application that would present all the technical details of the bagless excellence in an accurate and innovative way. This app should be efficient and sustainable for the IFA as well as for the Miele sales team afterwards.
The Miele Blizzard CX1 AR app is a real all-rounder when it comes to product presentation. As an interactive Augmented Reality experience, the app allows us to independently explore the highly technical inner workings as well as the unique aesthetics with all its functions.
The simple functionality via the mobile phone camera will make simply everyone a part of the AR spectacle. Once placed, the product unfolds all its facets on the smartphone screen, changes its colour and, with the X-Ray function, enables a glimpse into the integrated technology, which stays otherwise hidden from the normal eye.
But that’s not all: Multimedia content such as videos and animations round off the overall package of the AR app and show how imaginative and entertaining product presentations can be.
